Nalys Life

Happy 8 year anniversary!

8 years ago, three men decided to start their own technology service company. A lot has happened since then but their vision remained, a vision of a different type of consulting.

Here are 8 ways in which Nalys is different.

  1. Investment in the future

To support innovation and intrapreneurship within Nalys, we invest 7% of our annual revenue in the internal structure. We want to make sure our engineers have the sufficient means to help grow our model and to keep learning.

  1. Intrapreneurship as DNA

Intrapreneurship is a big part of our culture. We encourage Nalysians to get involved not just in their day-to-day job and project but also in the our ecosystem. Engineers who want to, can commit to doing extra missions for Nalys or taking on extra roles and in return they are rewarded for their efforts.

  1. A more flexible service offer

We developed a service called TaaS – Technology as a Service – for complex projects. It gives more flexibility to the client and ensures consultants work on interesting projects. We even received the award of innovative starter of the year in 2015 for this service.

  1. Train the next generation of engineers

For several years, Nalys has been allocating a part of its revenue to a program called the Nalys Institute of Technology. The goal is to help young engineers start their career with a practical approach in addition to theory. They are trained by our experts and coached to be fully operational once they start at a client’s.

  1. Growing expertise

We decided to create technical communities called cells to help experts exchange between one another on their field of expertise. It gives them the opportunity to keep improving their skills and share their expertise.

  1. Strong connections with clients

To ensure a better efficiency and visibility at a client’s, we have created an organization called Integrated Centers of Management. These are communities of engineers working at the same client whom will take on a role in training, technology, delivery, people, expansion or monitoring to ensure a continuity with the client and the higher performance possible.

  1. Efficient project follow-ups

Working remotely at a client’s can feel isolating. We organize follow-up meetings every 3 months to make sure the projects of our engineers are going according to plan, both for them and for the clients and guaranteeing the best performance on the project .

  1. Long term career plan

On top of project follow-ups, we organize career reviews. During those meetings, engineers share their vision for the future of their career, what kind of evolution they would like.  We try to make this vision come to life.
