About the job

Our engineers are passionate about thinking out of the box and suggest the right solutions at the right time.
If you have a good idea, we'll provide you the environment where it will be possible to create a great product for our customer experience.
As a material engineer, you will also handle analysis and repair proposal for non-conformities in aeronautics (fuselage and wing parts).
Your expertise in R&D will be useful to manage quality and improve the team performance. Your following responsibilities will be to:

• You will design & finalize new products materials or changing the existing ones, keeping in mind the cost reduction & environmental impact
• You will study the feasibility & prepare technical proposals. For that purpose, you define the means, methods & valuation techniques and implementation
• You will perform mathematical models to simulate the material’s behaviour
• You will carry out tests & verify the materials have the expected properties
• You will submit improvements or provide new manufacturing methods
• You will ensure that the production of raw materials is consistent & that their use is optimal
• You act as the interface between the R&D, laboratories & production services

About you

• You hold a Master in Mechanics with a Materials orientation
• You have at least 2-year experience in the aeronautical or automotive sector
• You are fluent in English & Dutch or French
